Titled after the pop-up show conceived by Watkins, "Space 2; Space Removed", was featured @the SH/ed./, Watkins' dilapidated storage shed, turned into an experimental exhibition space. This installation was opened to the public alongside Colleen Itani's interactive performance: "The Picnic Committee" which took place in the outdoor exhibition area.

Apart from varying techniques and approaches, Watkins' and Itani's selected works share consideration of theories of space as a conceptual framework. While investigating the relationship between the external world and the self, "Space 2; Space Removed" challenges perceptions of freedom within mental and physical sites. This inquiry coalesces through the notion that constructed behaviors and actions ease the unknown, as public and private spaces are informed and refuted by social, political, technological, and even psychological regulations.
